Scaffold building never caused any delays and the crew was attentive to our needs always keeping me updated along with asking what job was next or when can I work in a tear down while waiting for the next job. "Our scaffold folks on nights were truly team players. They kept good communication and were on location ready to work, whether inside a reactor or the top of a structure. Most of our work was inside reactors which are very hazardous, strenuous, and cramped conditions. Our general mechanical contractors commented on them several times, how responsive they were to their needs. “I would like to comment on Miken scaffold performance in the Feb. 2010 Site Oxy TA. I have led this TA for the last 6 executions and I cannot say enough about how far WE have come as a turnaround team. Miken is an essential part of that great team. I can see that Jesse and his crews have ownership in this TA and pride in their work! We have evolved into a group, (all crafts), that gets together once a year and performs a TA at a superior level. The great attitudes and team work demonstrated by all the scaffold builders helped make this another successful TA.” |

“Like to compliment Miken for the fantastic job they did on the GT-83 and ST-84 shutdown. We had many unexpected scaffolds come up in addition to the large complicated ones inside the HRU and Miken came through for us as they consistently do. Jesse Castillo and Lead builder Leal stayed on top of things and worked to best resource the scaffolds that we needed, They met our expectations every time and did it with the upmost safety valves in mind. The crew was very professional and a pleasure to work with - every one of them!” |

“I used the same Miken scaffold crew for (2) outages in the B-6800 block. The first one, I didn't know who I would get, but specifically asked for the same crew on the second. There were many scaffolds to be built on both, modifications needed for the work to continue and add on scaffolds throughout both turnarounds. This team conducted themselves in an exemplary manner throughout both turnarounds. The crew leader kept me in the loop as to where he stood on each job. The team worked with other contractor groups and me for the benefit of everyone. Miken needs to hire and retain more personnel such as these gentlemen.” |
